Maureen believes in a less is more approach when it comes to design. "As your designer my job is to listen to your ideas and translate them into images that convey, but do not compete with, the product that you are selling. Logos should be clean and simple, something that you can see for a split second out of the corner of your eye, and still be able to identify with the products they represent. Presentations should highlight strong ideas, and not overpower them with unnecessary graphics, sounds, and colors. Good design is only the frosting, not the cake."
Maureen received her formal art training at William Paterson University, following her BA with an additional year of studying architectural and mechanical drafting. Maureen has worked as a graphic designer in the food processing, petrochemical, and aerospace industries. For the past 15 years she has operated her own consulting firm, Jaguar Graphics, working with clients on the design of corporate identity packages, journal/newsletter production, conference presentations, and promotional items. She has been an instructor at the community college level, teaching courses in introductory computer skills. In addition, Maureen has recently earned a Master's degree in Consulting/Human Relations.
